Title : Supply Chain Planner
Location : San Diego CA
Duration : 12 Months
It is a flex role. The person needs to be onsite once a week. need a local candidate within 50 miles; the rest can be done remotely.
Shift 8 to 5
Job Description :
Develop and maintain demand supply projection models
Develop and maintain distribution resources planning models
Lead cross functional meetings to execute action plans
Evaluate warehouse nodes supply flow and target stocking levels
Provide MPS priority mix
Support EMEA and APAC supply orders
Analyze NPI and sunsetting SKUs and provide timeline model
Ability to data mine reports
Investigate inventory problems finds root causes and deliver solutions with crossfunctional departments
Lead continuous improvement and cost savings initiatives.
Certification is nice to have.
Must have skills :
5 years or more experience in Supply chain / Operations.
Intermediate to advance user of Microsoft Excel.
Intermediate to advance user with MS Office Word Outlook and Powerpoint.
Experienced with ERP / MRP systems.
Selfstarter comfortable leading crossregional and cross functional meetings that will interact / lead with different teams.
Work environment is fast paced and must be able to balance multiple deadlines.
Ability to stay organized while maintaining program / project timeline deliverables.
The background needs to be more in planner or buyer and in the warehouse.
Preferred skills :
Certification : Preferred CPIM / CSCP or applicable knowledge Skills and Abilities
Experience with Project and Program Management
Experience in the medical device industry
Knowledge of supply and distribution / inventory network planning
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Familiar to navigate in Sharepoint / Teams / Smartsheets
Does the candidate need to have knowledge of any type of system :
ERP functions that support Supply Chain.
Education Requirements :
Preferred College Degree or equivalent
5 or more years in Supply Chain / Operations
The degree is not mandatory. HS diploma is considerable.
Experience
- This is a senior role supply chain exp (atleast 5 years) with planning or buyer role. A person able to provide projections exp with Excel
- Daytoday working with contract manufacturing supply constraints project managing as needed leading the meeting with the team able to lead costsaving skills or experience.
- Reporting analysis experience good communication both oral and written especially in emails.
- Erp systems exp is also preferred.
- Industry exp is preferred.
Interview phone screen then a panel interview and Excel test.
