We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tax Accountant to join our team in Bolingbrook, IL. As a key member of our organization, you will play a critical role in ensuring compliance with sales and use tax regulations.
Job Summary
The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing and filing e-filings, data preparation, return preparation and reconciliation, request approvals and payments, as well as conducting use tax reviews for self-assessment and account reconciliations.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and file e-filings, data preparation, return preparation and reconciliation, request approvals and payments
- Conduct use tax reviews for self-assessment
- Perform account reconciliations
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of all transactions
Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, candidates must have:
- A Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance or other business major
- At least 4 years of professional work experience in sales and use tax compliance
- Working knowledge of Excel (intermediate or advanced), Word & PowerPoint, including formulas such as vlookup, pivot tables, sumif, countif
- Knowledge of Tableau, PowerBI, Alteryx (a plus)
