Hours/Schedule: 10 hour per week
This position will start in person with the possibility of turning partially remote, determined at the first 90-day evaluation. Flexible days/time for hours depending on your schedule.

Marketing duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Work directly with the owner for campaigns, strategies and execution of all marketing efforts
- Develop engaging content, including blog posts, email newsletters, and social media updates, ensuring it aligns with the spa's brand and promotional goals
- Design marketing materials such as flyers, brochures, and digital graphics using tools like Canva
- Drive engagement through personalized marketing campaigns targeting specific client segments based on their preferences or past visits
- Maintain the spa's website on GoDaddy by updating service menus, web pages and content.
- Manage Google Business Page and run basic ads on Google Ads
- Schedule and monitor posts on social media platforms to drive engagement and attract new clients
- Respond to customer inquiries and comments on social media to maintain strong client relationships
- Track social media metrics such as likes, shares, and engagement rates to measure campaign effectiveness
- Manage email marketing campaigns by crafting messages, segmenting audiences, and analyzing open/click-through rates
- Conduct market research to identify trends in the wellness industry and understand customer preferences.
- Analyze website data via Google Analytics and Looker Studio
- Monitor competitors' marketing efforts to identify opportunities for differentiation
- Assist in planning and promoting events for the spa and the Wellness Network
- Coordinate logistics for events, including partner communication, scheduling, and marketing collateral preparation
- Organize files, schedule meetings with vendors or partners, and handle other administrative tasks as needed
Required qualifications, Skills and Competencies:
- Bachelor’s degree (or in progress) for Marketing or Communications
- Graphic Design capabilities using Canva
- Knowledge and experience in conceptualizing and executing marketing strategies and objectives
- Experience with Task Management software like Asana is a plus
- Previous internship or experience in a marketing position preferred
- Previous track record for improvement in client retention or increase of sales preferred
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $16.00 - $18.00 per hour
