What are the responsibilities and job description for the Future Opening: Warehouse Forklift Operator position at Divine Enterprises?
We are recruiting a Warehouse Forklift Operator to join our team! Your position will focus on safe and efficient movement of products and materials.
Responsibilities:
- Obtains copy of production schedule or shipping order and transports material or equipment to and from designated areas in the facility;
- Loading and unloading goods from vehicles;
- Moving goods packed on pallets or in crates around the storage facility;
- Stacking goods in the correct storage bays, following inventory control instructions;
- Checking loads are secure;
- Stacking empty pallets;
- Performing daily equipment checks such as recharging the truck’s battery and lubricating equipment;
- Removing machine attachments and waste material from machines;
- Examining products to verify conformance to quality standards;
- Dumping materials into machine hoppers
- Inspect machinery to determine the need for repairs and guarantee safety by performing regular maintenance;
- Comply with company policies and legal guidelines;
- Help maintain a safe and orderly environment of the facilities;
- Prepares documents, logs, and correspondence to process incoming and outgoing products
Qualifications:
- Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
- Forklift certified on lifts classes I, II, IV and V.
- Knowledge of raw materials, production processes, quality control, products, costs and techniques for maximizing the effective manufacture and distribution of goods.
- Great attention to detail and ability to focus on the task at hand.
