Companions, an Homemaker's Duties include:
Accompany clients to doctors' appointments
Assist with daily living activities: Eating, Bathing, Grooming. Dressing, Transferring, Continence.
Instrumental activities of daily living: Managing money, Telephoning, Preparing meals, Laundry, House work, Out-side home.
Following the Plan of Care.
Periodic monitor of vitals.
Pediatric care, Geriatric care

Qualifications
- Caregiving experience
- First aid certification
- Patient observation skills
- Ability to work in group home settings
- Knowledge of ADLs (Activities of Daily Living)
- Previous experience in assisted living or nursing home environments
- Strong cooking skills
- Familiarity with patient care procedures
- Background in home & community care
- Long term care or social work experience is a plus.
