Child Care Assistant

Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and nurturing Childcare Provider to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for working with children and possess the skills necessary to create a safe, engaging, and educational environment. This role involves caring for children of various ages, including infants and toddlers, while promoting their development through play and structured activities.

Duties

• Provide attentive care for children, ensuring their safety and well-being at all times.
• Engage in age-appropriate activities that foster learning and development.
• Implement behavior management techniques to encourage positive behavior.
• Assist with daily routines including feeding, diapering, and nap times.
• Educate children through play-based learning experiences.
• Maintain a clean and organized childcare environment.
• Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's progress and any concerns.
• Stay current on first aid practices and emergency procedures.

Requirements

• Experience in childcare or related fields such as babysitting or nannying.
• Knowledge of toddler care and early childhood education principles.
• Strong behavior management skills to handle various situations effectively.
• Ability to provide infant care with patience and understanding.
• Certification in First Aid and CPR is preferred.
• Excellent communication skills to interact with children, parents, and team members.
• A genuine love for working with children and contributing to their growth.
