Duties
As a Personal Care Assistant, your responsibilities will include:
- Assisting clients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Providing mobility support, including lifting and transferring clients as needed.
- Helping with meal preparation and feeding assistance to ensure nutritional needs are met.
- Engaging clients in social activities to promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Monitoring and documenting changes in clients' health or behavior, reporting any concerns to the appropriate personnel.
- Supporting clients with medication reminders and adherence to prescribed health regimens.
- Ensuring a clean and safe living environment by performing light housekeeping duties.
- Upholding resident rights and maintaining confidentiality at all times.
Experience
The ideal candidate should possess:
- Previous experience in senior care or personal care home settings is preferred.
- Familiarity with assisted living facilities or nursing homes is advantageous.
- Knowledge of social work principles or working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- A compassionate demeanor with strong communication skills to effectively interact with clients and their families.
- Ability to lift and assist clients safely while adhering to proper techniques to prevent injury.

Job duties include assisting residents with cooking, cleaning, dressing, remaining involved in the community, and overall help through out the day. Staff will be required to assist will medication administration and other therapies or medical treatments. The home is a small residential home that can have up to six individual's who live there.
- Caregiving experience is essential for this role, with a focus on providing direct support to individuals in need. Premium skills such as assisted living, patient care, and working with people with developmental disabilities are highly valued and preferred, though not required. Knowledge of ADLs, vital signs, and long-term care is beneficial.

CURRENT OPENINGS:
Part Time: 7am-3pm (every other weekend only)
Part Time: 3pm-10pm (every other weekend only)
Part Time PM shift: 3p-9p some weekdays with every other weekend 3p-10p.
Job Types: Part-time, PRN
Pay: $16.00 - $17.00 per hour
