Job Overview
This position should be occupied by an individual who is a self – starter that is able to organize and coordinate administration duties and office procedures. The role of the office manager/assistant program director is to create and maintain a pleasant work environment, ensuring high levels of organizational effectiveness, communication, and safety. This position offers a great opportunity to advance to program director or other administrative positions within the organization.
Responsibilities
- Assist the program director with any work-related tasks as needed
- Work with the human resources department and scheduling department primarily for interviewing, hiring, and scheduling employees
- Serve as the point person regarding mailing, office supplies, and inventory.
- Assist with training and development of staff to enhance their skills and performance.
- Organize and coordinate front desk operations to ensure a welcoming environment for visitors.
- The position is an in-person position, 8am-5pm, Monday - Friday with possible evening or weekend Direct Care Duties as needed.
Requirements
- High School diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel, and MS Outlook).
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
- Proficiency in administrative tasks related to office management
- Familiarity with scheduling preferred
