Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Home Health Aide to provide essential support to individuals in their homes. Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, fostering a positive environment.
- Monitor and document patient observations, including vital signs and changes in health status.
- Aid clients with mobility, including lifting and transferring as needed.
- Prepare meals according to dietary restrictions and preferences, ensuring nutritional needs are met.
- Assist with catheter care and other medical needs as directed by healthcare professionals.
- Maintain a clean and safe living environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
- Communicate effectively with family members and healthcare providers regarding client progress and needs.
Requirements
- Experience in caregiving or home health care is preferred, particularly with senior care or individuals with developmental disabilities.
- Knowledge of basic medical procedures, including vital sign monitoring and catheter care.
- Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting clients safely.
- Strong observational skills to recognize changes in patients’ conditions promptly.
- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact effectively with clients and their families.
- A compassionate nature with a commitment to providing high-quality care.
- Certification as a Home Health Aide or similar qualification is desirable but not mandatory.
