Job Description:

• Come join our team of dedicated care givers. Overlooking beautiful Lake Sleepy Eye, Divine Providence Community Home is a 50 bed skilled nursing facility.
• The RN Charge Nurse provides nursing care to residents according to physicians' orders and resident care plan.
• Monitors resident status and makes referrals to physician and resident's next of kin.
• Administers and records medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Takes and records vital signs.
• Monitors nursing staff on assigned shift.

Part-time Day shift. 7:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Every 4th weekend

Required Skills:

• Current RN license with MN State Board of Nursing
• Working knowledge of computers
• Willing and able to learn state and federal regulations and policies governing the nursing home.
• Interest in geriatric nursing with the knowledge of nursing and medicine to assist each resident to attain or maintain his or her highest level of functioning.
• Must have good people skills, ability to work cooperatively with staff, families, residents, and administration for the benefit of the resident.
• Works well in emergency situations, directs co-workers as needed.
