We are looking to hire a strong, confident, and dynamic ADON to join our team at Divine Rehab and Nursing at Honeytown. The right person must have MDS experience.
Responsibilities:
- Assists Director of Nursing in ensuring compliance with regulations for documentation from physicians and nursing personnel and ensuring that all policies/procedures are implemented.
- Make rounds daily to direct the work of licensed staff to ensure quality care is provided to residents.
- Completes chart audits and reports results and progress, and makes recommendations for improvement to the Director of Nursing.
- Coordinates the facility's Infection Control Program.
- Coordinates Covid19 vaccination & testing program for residents and staff; also, influenza and pneumovax vaccinations. Oversees TB testing documentation
- Maintains effective communication with families, residents, and facility staff.
- Facilitates and Coordinates the Admission Process and Discharge Planning
- Directs the Overall Operations of the Social Services Department
- Communicates and Interacts with Other Staff, Families, Residents. Community Agencies and Visitors
- Maintains Healthy Relationships and Uses Professional Conduct with Residents, Families, Visitors, Supervisors and Co-workers
Qualifications:
- Current R.N. license by State Board of Nursing required.
- 1 Year minimum experience in long-term care and with Point Click Care.
- Other advanced practice nursing certifications are a plus.
- An Ohio license to practice social work
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $75,000.00 - $82,000.00 per year
