Division 27 Telecommunications Inc. is seeking a Cable Technician to join our team. This full-time position offers a salary range of $20.00 to $28.00 per hour depending on experience.
**Job Overview:**
As a Cable Technician, you will be responsible for the installation, termination, and maintenance of copper and fiber optic cables. You will work closely with floor plans and customer input to negotiate and install cable pathways. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of one year of experience in the field and be familiar with safety procedures and practices.
**Responsibilities:**
- Assess floor plans for cable installation
- Install cable pathways based on floor plans and customer input
- Terminate copper and fiber cables
- Understand and follow copper and fiber color codes
- Operate cable certification tools and scanners
- Perform cable installation at heights above six feet
- Willingness to work flexible and extended hours
**Requirements:**
- Minimum of one year of experience in cable installation
- Valid driver's license and dependable transportation
- must pass drug screens and background check
- Composite or steel-toe work boots required
- Basic cable installation tools required
