Summary of Job Duties :
The Program Associate – Hay Verification Coordinator will be responsible for implementing the goals and objectives of the Arkansas Hay Verification program and the Arkansas Hay Land Resource Conservation and Research Verification Grant to improve the understanding of soil fertility, nutrient management, and forage crop management for hay production.
The Program Associate will operate in an independent decision-making role in the planning and executing the Hay Verification program. Dr. Bronc Finch (Supervisor) coordinates work objectives, but implementation will be primarily the responsibility of the Program Associate.
The Program Associate communicates and collaborates with extension and research faculty, staff, cooperating producers, and other stakeholders as needed to effectively contribute to the goals and objectives of the Arkansas Hay Verification program.

Minimum Qualifications :
A Bachelor’s degree in Soil Science, Agronomy, or a related field, plus 3 years of related professional experience, OR a related Master's degree is required.
