About the Role:
We seek a Part-Time Litigation Attorney to assist with our growing family law caseload. This flexible, part-time position will involve handling a range of case-related tasks, including court appearances, and working directly with the managing attorney. This is an excellent opportunity for a motivated attorney seeking a part-time role with diverse responsibilities within family law.
Responsibilities:
- Manage court appearances, including but not limited to status hearings, summary hearings, evidentiary hearings, and hearings on orders of protection.
- Collaborate on case strategy and preparation.
- Conduct legal research and draft legal documents as needed.
- Communicate effectively with clients and court personnel.
- Maintain the highest standards of professional ethics and client advocacy.
Qualifications:
- Active and in good standing license to practice law in Illinois.
- Demonstrated experience in divorce and family law litigation.
- Exceptional courtroom presence, advocacy skills, and the ability to think critically and strategically under pressure.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a commitment to achieving positive outcomes for our clients.
Compensation:
This part-time position offers competitive compensation, including an annual bonus opportunity.
