Associate Attorney - Family Law

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Associate Attorney to join our team. As an Associate Attorney, you will have the opportunity to manage a diverse caseload of family law matters from start to finish, working under the close supervision of the Managing Attorney. Duties and Responsibilities:

Analyze legal rights and provide advice to clients on family law matters.

• Draft legal documents and pleadings, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
• Conduct discovery, gather evidence, and prepare case materials.
• Prepare clients and cases for depositions and hearings.
• Represent clients in legal proceedings, including court appearances and mediation.
• Work with accountants and valuators regarding asset and property division, and separation of business interests.
• Communicate clearly and sensitively with clients, ensuring they are informed and supported throughout the process.
• Manage deadlines and track the progress of assigned cases, ensuring timely and efficient case management.
• Perform tasks that contribute to the goals and objectives of the firm.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Strong legal research, writing, and analytical skills.
• Excellent oral and written communication abilities, with the capacity to present complex legal arguments clearly and convincingly.
• Detail-oriented and highly organized, with the ability to handle multiple cases and meet deadlines effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment while also demonstrating independence in case management.
• Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

Education and Experience:

• Juris Doctor (J.D.) or LL.M. degree from an accredited law school.
• Licensed to practice law in California.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $150,000.00 - $275,000.00 per year (Based on Experience)
