Job Description:
Looking an exceptional Technical Analyst with heavy business analysis experience to join a leading energy company in Tulsa, OK. This is a permanent, full-time position, ideal for someone who can "walk on water" in terms of delivering high-level analysis, breaking down tasks, and driving process improvements. The right candidate will be a strong communicator who works well with both management and product owners. No development work is involved this role focuses on strategic analysis, writing clear user stories, and improving business processes.

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to understand business needs and translate them into clear and actionable user stories.
• Break down complex tasks and processes into manageable components for the development team.
• Identify and recommend opportunities for process improvement across various business functions.
• Work directly with the Product Owner to ensure that project requirements align with business objectives and goals.
• Act as a liaison between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring smooth communication and understanding on both sides.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with management to drive alignment on business needs and deliverables.
• Drive and support decision-making processes related to project scope, priorities, and resources.
• Lead and facilitate requirements gathering sessions, ensuring all necessary details are captured and well documented.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Heavy experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on process improvement, requirements gathering, and task breakdown.
• Ability to write clear and detailed user stories that will guide the development process.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to engage effectively with management, business stakeholders, and technical teams.
• Proven ability to manage relationships with senior leadership and understand their strategic goals to align projects accordingly.
• Previous experience in the energy sector or a strong understanding of energy industry operations would be a significant advantage.
• Ability to analyze complex business processes and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
• A self-starter who thrives in a dynamic environment with minimal oversight.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience working in the energy industry (oil, gas, renewable energy, etc.).
• Familiarity with project management methodologies like Agile or Scrum.
• Process mapping and workflow optimization experience.
