Job Summary
- Care for hospitalized and boarded animals by bathing, feeding, watering, exercising and providing clean living conditions
- Sanitize examining rooms and surface areas to maintain a clean environment
- Assist in holding and restraining animals during exams and procedures
- Provide care for animals after procedures by monitoring vitals and providing heat support
- Change animal bedding and kennel materials to ensure cleanliness
- Ensure all cages and kennels are clean and well-maintained
- Administer oral and topical medications as directed by veterinarians
- Assist in collecting samples such as feces or urine for testing
