Duties
- Manage inventory levels and ensure accurate stock counts for automotive parts.
- Utilize an Order Management System to process orders and track shipments.
- Collaborate with suppliers for procurement management, ensuring timely delivery of parts.
- Provide exceptional customer service by assisting clients with inquiries regarding parts availability and specifications.
- Conduct automotive diagnostics to identify necessary parts for repairs.
- Oversee shipping and receiving processes to ensure proper handling of all incoming and outgoing parts.
- Maintain accurate records in the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) for tracking inventory usage and maintenance schedules.
- Fabricate components as needed to support repair operations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in automotive repair or diagnostics is preferred.
- Strong background in inventory management and order management systems.
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients and suppliers.
- Familiarity with shipping and receiving processes within an automotive context.
- Experience in supplier management and procurement management is a plus.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment while also being self-motivated.
- Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
