Kennel Technician Position
~Ensures the overall health and well being of animals entrusted to the care of the Dixie Animal Hospital while providing excellence customer service.~
Duties (Essential Functions)
- Daily cleaning and disinfecting of runs, walkways and rooms, public areas and offices.
- Daily cleaning of cat condos & litter boxes.
- Launder bedding, blankets, towels and rugs.
- Bathe, dry and brush animals as needed.
- Provides excellent customer service at all times.
Qualifications/Requirements
- Ability to represent Dixie Animal Hospital in a courteous and professional manner
- Ability to handlemultiple tasks simultaneously while demonstrating interpersonal skills with clients and staff
- General dog / cat knowledge
- Basic math, reading and writing skills
- Basic computer knowledge
- Punctual and dependable with a professional, neat appearance
Physical Demands/Working Environment
- Frequent bending, sitting, reaching, feeling and or handling, kneeling, walking and standing on a regular basis while performing job functions.
- Frequently lifts, carries or otherwise moves and positions objects weighing more than 75lbs with assistance.
- Includes working in an indoor and outdoor environment with exposure to environmental conditions that include working near animals.

Screening Requirements: Must be able to pass drug screening
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $12.00 - $14.00 per hour
