Job Title: Sales Clerk

Location: Augusta, GA

Pay: $12 per hour

Job Type: Monday-Saturday, 11 a.m. to 7 p.m.

The Role:

We’re seeking a sales clerk to be the smiling face of our market. You’ll handle sales, keep things running smoothly at the register, and share our love for fresh produce with every customer. You’ll also be expected to ensure the quality of produce on display, helping grade out any produce that’s reached the end of its shelf life. This is a great fit for someone who enjoys people, teamwork, and a fast-paced, customer-oriented environment.

What You’ll Do:

• Ring up customers at the register with accuracy and a friendly attitude.
• Answer questions about our farm-fresh produce and other items, sharing what makes them special.
• Keep shelves stocked, tidy, and looking great.
• Assist with cleaning and organizing to maintain a welcoming market space.
• Pitch in with small tasks as needed, like bagging produce or setting up displays.

What We’re Looking For:

• Some experience in retail, cashiering, or customer service (1-2 years preferred, but we’ll train the right person!).
• A warm, approachable personality—someone who enjoys chatting with customers.
• Comfortable handling cash, card payments, and basic math on the fly.
• Reliable and eager to be part of a small, family-run team.
• Able to stand for shifts and lift light loads (e.g., a box of peaches).
