Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented individual to join our Overnight Sales team as a Cashier/Sales Associate. The ideal candidate will possess excellent communication skills, basic math abilities, and the ability to work well under pressure.
Main Responsibilities:
- Process customer transactions accurately and efficiently.
- Manage cash, credit card transactions, and other forms of payment.
- Maintain a clean and organized store environment.
- Ensure effective inventory management.
- Engage in shift changes, accurately counting and reconciling cash and operating equipment.
- Process specialty items, such as money orders, credit card purchases, checks, and lottery sales and redemptions.
- Verify customer identification for restricted sales.
Requirements:
- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Ability to work weekends and holidays.
- Basic math skills required.
- Capable of frequently lifting 10 lbs and occasionally lifting up to 50 lbs.
- Pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
