Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Seafood Processor to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in processing and packing, with the ability to perform various processing tasks. This role is essential in ensuring the efficiency and flow of our day to day business operations.
Duties
- Processing: Washing, cleaning, deboneing, packing, cutting, filleting, and preparing seafood products for sale
- Maintaining Standards: Ensuring cleanliness, organization, and adherence to health and safety standards
- Other Duties: May include stocking, removing, Icing, cleaning, and performing other tasks as assigned
- Close working Environment: Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations in the processing room.
Requirements
- Attention to detail, Focus on quality and accuracy
- Ability to handle heavy lifting and repetitive motions
- Prior experience in seafood processing or related roles is often preferred
- Ability to organize and maintain work areas
- Ability to work effectively with others in a fast-paced environment
- Able to work with and maintain sharp knives.
