Front of House Cashier / Customer Service

Job Overview
We are seeking a motivated and friendly Customer Service Associate / Cashier to join our busy restaurant team. In this role, you will be the first point of contact for customers, providing exceptional service and ensuring a positive experience. Your responsibilities will include handling transactions, assisting customers, maintaining cleanliness as well as expo-ing the food as it comes out. Duties

• Operate cash registers and POS systems efficiently to process customer transactions.
• Assist customers with inquiries on menu and food.
• Clean tables as well as various areas of the restaurant and take out trash
• Utilize retail math skills to manage cash handling accurately and reconcile registers at the end of shifts.
• Communicate effectively with customers and team members to foster a positive shopping atmosphere.
• Exhibit professional phone etiquette when addressing customer calls or inquiries.

Skills

• Experience in a fast-paced Restaurant setting is required.
• Proficiency in operating cash registers and POS systems is essential.
• Strong communication skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
• Knowledge of retail math concepts to assist in transactions and inventory management.
• Excellent organizational skills

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $21.00 per hour
