Experienced Landscape Foreman

DJ Landscaping is looking to hire an Experienced Landscape Foreman!

Candidate should have a minimum of 2 years of landscape leadership experience, must have a license, be a self starter and self motivated.

This is a hands-on position , Candidate is expected to work in a hands-on capacity to maintain residential and commercial properties to the highest level, delivering excellent results to the customer. An ideal candidate will be a team player as well able to work independently. Candidate will be required to self manage effectively, efficiently manage time, while staying on schedule

Responsibilities and Duties

• Hands on work, including operating a variety of machinery ranging from truck and trailers, zero turn mowers, string trimmers, back pack blowers to trade hand tools.
• Ensuring that all equipment is maintained and operated safely and maintenance procedures are followed
• Communicating with management and clients.
• Effectively utilize company CRM system
• Interacts with clientele in order to help ensure job satisfaction.
• Leads by example during the performance of all assigned work.
• Maintain equipment as used.
• Maintain a clean and safe job site.
• Notice and report problems/concerns with the property.
• Perform such other activities as needed that may be temporarily or permanently assigned but not limited to the following
• Snow and Ice removal
• Mulching
• Planting, spring and fall clean-ups

Qualifications

• Two (2 ) years prior supervisory experience Leading a crew.
• Valid and current Driver’s License and ability to obtain DOT medical card
• Be courteous and Professionally with customers, reliable and presentable in uniform each and everyday.
• Organized and ability to work and directly manage.
• Comprehensive knowledge to operate all walk behind/riding landscape equipment, 2 cycle and hand tools.
• Ability to use CRM correctly, track time, keep inventory and fill out required paperwork.
• Have reliable transportation and Reports to work on time everyday

Physical requirements

• Required to endure long periods of standing or walking and extended periods of bending, stooping, and lifting.
• Be able to lift 20- 50lbs Frequently / Be able to lift 50 lbs Occasionally

Pay: $24.00 - $30.00 per hour
