Certified Public Accountant

Job Description:

DJL Accounting & Consulting Group, Inc. is seeking a detail-oriented and experienced CPA to join our team in Austintown, Ohio. You will play a crucial role in our firm by preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements, corporate and individual income tax returns, analyzing financial positions, reviewing junior staff’s work, and managing client accounts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Manage client portfolios.
• Prepare and review corporate and individual income tax returns.
• Prepare and review monthly financial statements.
• Perform and review bookkeeping duties when necessary.
• Review and provide feedback on the work of the junior staff.
• Review and prepare financial and profitability analyses.
• Undertake additional general accounting duties as needed.

Requirements:

• Minimum of four years of accounting experience; five or more is preferred.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or related field.
• CPA required.
• Computer skills; including proficiency in QuickBooks, UltraTax, Microsoft products including Excel, Word, Outlook, and Teams.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to meet and schedule deadlines and ensure accurate daily work.
• Team player with the ability to function effectively in a collaborative environment.
