Job Title / High-Level Position Summary :
The Supply Chain Intern will work in one of three functional areas : Demand Planning, Supply Planning / Purchasing, or Network Planning.
The intern will be assigned a product category and will be responsible for all core activities related to their functional area. Some examples include :
Demand Planning : Utilize statistical modeling to generate forecasts and work cross-functionally with sales, marketing, and finance to create a consensus demand plan.
Supply Planning : Evaluate demand, capacity, and material availability to plan and coordinate production schedules.
Network Planning : monitor and communicate inventory health, balance inventory levels, highlight future inventory risks, and create trade-off strategies when needed.
In addition to the functional work, the intern will be assigned a project to complete over the course of the internship and will deliver a "capstone" presentation at the end of the program.
