Procurement Manager

Position Overview: The Procurement Manager will be responsible for managing the procurement process for all construction-related materials, services, and equipment. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong negotiation skills and a deep understanding of the construction industry. The ideal candidate will have experience in procurement, supply chain management, and vendor relationship management within the construction sector.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement procurement strategies to ensure cost-effective and timely acquisition of materials and services.
• Identify and evaluate potential suppliers, negotiate contracts, and establish strong relationships with vendors.
• Collaborate with project managers, architects, and engineers to determine project requirements and ensure timely delivery of materials and services.
• Monitor market trends, supplier performance, and industry developments to make informed procurement decisions.
• Manage the procurement process from requisition to purchase order issuance, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular assessments of supplier performance and address any issues or discrepancies.
• Maintain accurate records of procurement activities, contracts, and supplier agreements.
• Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and standards.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
• Experience in procurement, preferably within the construction industry.
• Strong negotiation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Proven ability to develop and maintain effective supplier relationships.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.
