Duties
- Supervise daily deli operations, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth operations during peak hours.
- Manage inventory levels, including ordering, restocking supplies, and minimizing waste.
- Collaborate with kitchen management to develop menu items that align with customer preferences and seasonal offerings.
- Prepare and serve a variety of deli items, including meats, cheeses, salads, and sandwiches.
- Ensure all food handling practices comply with food safety regulations.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the deli counter and surrounding areas.
- Assist customers by providing knowledgeable recommendations and answering questions about products.
- Operate deli equipment safely and efficiently.
- Perform basic math calculations for pricing and portioning food items.
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization within the deli area.
- Assist in resolving customer complaints or issues promptly and professionally.

Experience

- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
- Familiarity with bar operations is beneficial but not required.
