Job Skills / Requirements

As an unarmed Security Officer at DK Security, your duties may vary depending on the site you are working.

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES Include But Are Not Limited To

• Customer Service - Looking for a friendly, professional demeanor to greet clients as they arrive onsite, provide helpful information.
• Patrolling - Walk the interior and exterior of the various buildings on site, keeping an eye out for security, safety, or maintenance issues.
• Access Control - Ensure the visitors and employees have the proper credentials and appointments needed to enter the facility.
  
  

Current Opening

• As needed / PTOC
• on call / variable shifts and variable days
• Guardhouse Shifts availabilty:6AM-11PM variable days
• Boardwalk Shifts availability: Fri 5PM-9PM, Sat /Sun 1PM-9PM
• Additional Hours may be available at other site locations
  
  

Perks

• Pay Rate: $16.32/hour (pay rate set by current contract; subject to future increases). Additional sites worked the pay rate would be determined per contract location.

LOCATION: West Olive, MI

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years of age or older.
• Must have either a high school diploma or GED equivalent.
• May NOT have any felony convictions and must be able to pass a criminal background check in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Must be able to successfully pass a drug test at the time of hire and randomly thereafter.
• Must present a friendly, positive, and professional image.
• Must be willing to become CPR/1st Aide/AED Certified
• Must have a valid Driver's License with a good driving record.
• Less than 3 moving violations in the last 3 years
• Less than 2 at-fault accidents in the last 3 years
• No other major violations in the last 3 years.
• Physical Requirements:
• Must be able to sit, stand or walk for the duration of the shift, including walking long distances, and possibly up and down stairs
• Must be able to occasionally lift up to 50 pounds
• Must be readily able to respond to emergency situations
• Ability to work independently with little or no supervision.
