HUD Occupancy Specialist / Apartment Office Assistant for 214 Unit 100% HUD Project Based Section 8 apartment community located in San Jose.
Hours of work are Monday 9:00A - 6:00P & Tuesday - Friday 8:00A to 5:00P.
Seeking a candidate with a “winning” personality, who is organized, and has good communication skills. MUST have project-based HUD Section 8 experience; Primary responsibilities would include processing Annual Recertification’s, Interim Recertification’s, and Move-in Certification’s as well as assisting in all phases of Apartment Rental Office duties.
Duties include but not limited to the following: assisting residents, answering phones, preparing letters and notices, updating the waiting list, collecting, and depositing rents, computer data entry, attending all company sponsored meetings, all other work-related requirements of the position.
Must have prior HUD Section 8 processing experience Real Page OneSite experience is a plus.
Must pass a Criminal and DMV background check.
