- 2-5 years of job-related experience.
- Monday – Friday, 8am-5pm (Full-time, on-site in DoD closed areas for GTRI).
- Provide unit-level support for installation, operation, and maintenance of computer systems.
- Address issues of moderate complexity with general instructions on routine tasks and specific guidance for new assignments.
- Interact consistently with users within the assigned unit, including management, faculty, and staff.
- Install, maintain, and upgrade workstations, peripheral hardware, and software.
- Respond to and resolve workstation, application, and server-related problems.
- Update desktop software and applications and maintain documentation for installed software.
- Assist users with specific applications and troubleshoot office equipment like copiers, fax machines, printers, and building access systems.
- Manage email accounts and provide user support.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Must have a Final DoD Secret Clearance on the first day to support classified systems in DoD closed areas.
- Experience with Linux system support.
- Help desk support and account management: account creation, password resets, and setting permissions.
- Support for secure VTC calls, basic user troubleshooting, and software patching/upgrades.
- System hardening and production of RMF documentation (SCAP checklists and other artifacts).
- Familiarity with STIGs, data transfers, and system deployments, including hardware, OS, and software installation, maintenance, and upgrades.
- Support office equipment such as printers and scanners.
- Document installed applications and managed system inventories.
