Warehouse Associate/Forklift Operator

A Lock & Key & Door Company in the Commerce area is looking to fill Warehouse Associate positions. Warehouse Associates are responsible for the overall output, condition, quality and capability of various functions relating to and in a warehouse environment.

Job Summary:

Under the direction, of the Warehouse Manager, the Warehouse Associate will assist and work in all departments according to business needs and ensures efficiency & compliance of all policies and procedures. Other duties may apply.

Essential Functions:

• Protects all company assets in the warehouse at all times
• Pull orders by taking all safety precautions and with the utmost quality
• Door & Frame experience is huge plus
• Wrap, strap & secure orders
• Check for damages before securing orders
• Provides a safe and clean environment for warehouse personnel
• Advise inventory department when locations need to be restocked
• Daily cleaning and organizing all locations and aisles
• Remove all trash, plastic wrap, plastic straps, broken boxes, etc. on a daily basis
• Assist repack department when needed
• Return all all merchandise to proper location/s
• Audits all aisles making sure all locations have barcodes and merchandise is in the correct location
• Work closely with the inventory department for count and/or inventory reconciliation using the appropriate paperwork
• Able to take accountability

Schedule:

Monday-Friday-some Saturdays depending on production needs

7:30am to 4:00pm
