Position Overview: DL Cabinetry is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. As a Warehouse Material Handler, you will play a vital role in supporting the smooth operation of our warehouse. Your responsibilities will include receiving, storing, and organizing inventory, and maintaining an efficient and well-organized warehouse environment. Your contribution will directly impact our ability to deliver exceptional products and ensure customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities:

Inventory Management:

• Receive, inspect, and accurately record incoming shipments of cabinets and related materials.
• Verify the quantity and quality of received goods, and report any discrepancies or damages.
• Organize and store inventory in designated locations, ensuring proper stock rotation.
• Perform regular inventory counts and assist with cycle counting to maintain accurate inventory records.

Order Processing:

• Ensure that all incoming items are correctly labeled and packaged according to company standards.
• Collaborate with the Warehouse Manager and other team members to prioritize unloading shipments and meet deadlines.
• Assist with unloading shipments, utilizing proper handling techniques to prevent damage.

Warehouse Organization:

• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
• Ensure that aisles, storage areas, and workstations are free from obstructions.
• Follow proper material handling procedures, including the use of appropriate equipment and tools.
• Assist in implementing and maintaining efficient warehouse layout and storage practices.

Quality Control:

• Conduct visual inspections of products during the receiving processes.
• Identify and report any product defects, damages, or quality issues to the Warehouse Manager.
• Collaborate with the Quality Control team to resolve and prevent quality-related issues.

Team Collaboration:

• Work collaboratively with other warehouse associates and cross-functional teams to achieve operational goals.
• Communicate effectively with team members, ensuring a smooth flow of information and tasks.
• Assist and support coworkers as needed, fostering a positive and cooperative work environment.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous experience in a warehouse or logistics environment is preferred.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy.
• Excellent organizational and time management skills.
• Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Basic computer skills for inventory tracking and order processing.
• Physical stamina to perform manual tasks, including lifting and carrying heavy objects.
• Familiarity with material handling equipment, such as forklifts or pallet jacks, is a plus.
• Commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety protocols.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $15.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 24 – 30 per week
