20-attorney insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced TEXAS First Party Property Litigation Attorneys to join their KINGWOOD, TX team. (First Party Property DEFENSE or other Insurance Defense experience REQUIRED)
We will consider 100% REMOTE if we determine you're highly qualified and you live within 1 hour of Houston.
Should have substantial experience with TEXAS First Party Property cases - or other TX insurance defense experience that is translatable. We handle the defense of homeowner's claims for very reputable insurance carriers in TX, including hurricane, storm, wind, water, fire, roofing, pipes, and other severe damage to residential and commercial properties.
***IDEAL Candidates have 2 years experience in TX First Party Property Insurance Defense or other Insurance Defense Litigation experience in TX.***
DUTIES: reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, preparing an initial status report summarizing liability / damages and exposure, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, taking and defending fact and expert witness depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials, and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same.
