What are the responsibilities and job description for the General Liability Defense Attorney (Scottsdale/ HYBRID REMOTE) position at DL Group, LLC?
Distinguished, national insurance defense litigation firm is looking for experienced ARIZONA INSURANCE DEFENSE Litigation Attorneys (Plaintiff's attorneys will be considered) to join their SCOTTSDALE team (THIS IS A HYBRID WORK-FROM-HOME ROLE).
Should have substantial experience with ARIZONA Bodily Injury Defense, namely Motor Vehicle Accidents, Premises Liability and other General Liability issues.
***IDEAL Candidates have 2 years experience in AZ Bodily Injury Defense Litigation or other insurance defense experience***
DUTIES: reviewing and analyzing new files from assignment by the adjuster, drafting pleadings, motions, issuing written discovery, answering discovery, review and analysis of medical records/bills to identify damages, deposition prep, depositions, arguing motions, attending court hearings, mediations, trials client phone calls,and regularly preparing comprehensive status reports to the clients. Should have experience with expert witness depositions and preparing for same. Should also have trial experience or at least "trial prep" experience.
