Summary

Because of our growth, we are seeking an experienced Technical Product Owner. In this role, you will work with business stakeholders and customers to define the vision and help deliver our solutions. The Technical Product Owner will work with their team, manage the backlog, and optimize the value delivered. As a Technical Product Owner, you will help ensure that the product meets the customer needs. Our ideal candidate is articulate, creative, and looking to join a mission driven organization. Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business or equivalent
  • 5 years of professional experience in the software industry as a Product Owner or related roles such as System Engineer or Developer
  • Experience with Agile practices and working in Scrum
  • Ability to work fully remote within the continental USA in an Eastern or Central time zone (Excluding New York)
  • Must be a US citizen or permanent resident

Desired Qualifications

  • Experience working in a Product Owner role, creating and managing product roadmaps and team backlogs in Jira or other tracking software
  • System thinking background such as Software Engineering, System Engineering, QA experience or other related
  • Experience with defining integrations with 3rd party integrations and connected solutions
  • Ability to analyze requirements and understand the impact to interfaces
  • Familiarity delivering Cloud based solutions
  • Knowledge of UX and UI Design practices and methodologies
  • Healthcare industry experience and familiarity with topics such as EHR software, FHIR, VA or other large providers, HIPAA
  • Essential Job Functions

  • Work with stakeholders to set short and long term strategic product vision and roadmap
  • Collaborate with customers and industry leading partners to define features that solve interesting problems in the Healthcare Space (problem solver)
  • Build relationships with customers and understand their domain to help build solutions that delight
  • Guide development of features through design and delivery, including reviewing, exercising, and approving changes
  • Own the scrum team’s backlog, set priorities, lead story writing workshops and backlog refinements
  • Help triage defects
  • Understand system to system integrations between customers, partners, and our company
  • Grow your expertise in the Healthcare Systems domain and share learnings with team; become an expert and go to person
  • Perform demonstrations to stakeholders, partners, and customers
  • Be an expert on our users and advocate for them by delivering the highest value features

  • Agile project management in Jira
  • Backend server components are golang applications running on Amazon Linux ECS / Fargate
  • PostgreSQL / Redshift
  • Angular, Typescript / Javascript
  • Python / Glue for analytics
  • Pulumi enabled infrastructure as code
  • Jenkins orchestrates the CI / CD pipeline
  • Revision Control via Git / GitHub
