Partner - Data Analytics (New York, NY)

DLA, LLC is seeking a seasoned Data Analytics Partner to spearhead the expansion of our IT Advisory vertical to include data analytics services spanning litigation support, anomaly detection, management reporting, Enterprise Performance Management (EPM), operational reviews and Financial Planning & Analysis (FP&A). The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in business development and the ability to manage and execute complex client engagements. 

Duties & Responsibilities: 

• Help to grow the Data Analytics practice at DLA by developing and implementing strategic and tactical plans in accordance with DLA’s mission and vision 

• Utilize entrepreneurial skills to network and build strong relationships internally and externally with the goal of acquiring new clients, projects, and net new revenue 

• Elevate DLA’s brand by demonstrating thought leadership and embracing our marketing and sales programs 

• Advise clients on complex investigative data analytics matters 

• Analyze data to help clients manage legal, operational, regulatory and reputational risk 

• Analyze and report structured and unstructured data into transactional tables for further reporting and analysis and preparing custom dashboards to visualize data in a meaningful way 

• Support forensic and litigation services through the assessment of data  

• Leverage industry-leading tools and technology to implement proactive regulatory programs and unearth instances of fraud, detect abnormal behavior, and identify perpetrators. 

• Responsible for ensuring the engagement team has an in-depth understanding of the client’s business 

• Lead and manage multiple concurrent engagements, providing guidance to clients on tech-enabled investigations, data management best practices, data analytics solutions, and relevant regulatory compliance developments   

• Assist in managing client engagement staffing, billings/collections, and ensure client profitability targets are met 

• Oversee all aspects of project management, including developing project scope and project plan, plan implementation, reviewing budgets, and overseeing proper delegation of assignments to team members, as well as communicating findings to the client’s management teams 

• Provide timely, high quality client service that meets or exceeds client expectations including coordinating the development and execution of the consulting work plan and client deliverables 

• Support the growth and development of team members, helping these individuals meet their professional goals 

Knowledge & Skills: 

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Accounting, Finance, Business, Information Systems, Engineering, or other relevant technical field 

• Minimum of 15 years of experience in data analytics consulting, particularly in disputes/investigations 

• Professional services experience required 

• Experience producing and delivering communications to the executive level 

• Prior litigation testimony work, preferred 

• Project management experience 

• Prior experience managing a team 

• Strong oral and written communication skills 

• Demonstrated analytical ability 

• Strong attention to detail 

• Experience summarizing results and producing management reports 

• Strong computer proficiency, specifically with MS Office 

• CISA, CIA, CPA or other relevant certification preferred
