We are actively recruiting a Cybersecurity Senior with experience in cyber risk consulting to join our NYC-based team.
DLA has always had a very flexible hybrid work model where time will be split between NYC client sites and work-from-home.
Duties & Responsibilities:?
- Conduct cyber risk assessments, contribute to risk mitigation strategies, and identify potential security problems.
- Design and develop cybersecurity policies, standards, and procedures, ensuring compliance with industry standards.
- Participate in developing technical eminence materials, such as Whitepapers and Points of View.
- Prepare and facilitate client meetings and workshops, documenting outcomes and ensuring effective delivery of project objectives.
- Act independently to complete projects and maintain high utilization levels.
- Contribute to winning proposals, developing solutions, and identifying opportunities for further assistance to clients.
- Stay updated with developments in cybersecurity, risk management, and internal controls.

Knowledge & Skills:?
- Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Security, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent industry experience.
- Preferred certifications: Security , CASP, CISA, CISM, CIA.
- 3 years in Cybersecurity or related IT roles, with professional services experience a strong plus.
- Proficiency in Risk Management, Cyber risk assessment, and various cybersecurity frameworks (e.g., NIST 800-53, ISO 27001, HIPAA).
- Experience in Incident Management, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity, IT Security Organization, Awareness & Training, and Penetration Testing.
- Familiarity with SIEM, SOAR, EDR, IDS, IAM, Multi-Factor Authentication, Encryption, Cloud Security, and Data Security.
- General networking concepts and/or experience in Network/System Administration.
- Scripting, software development, or automation experience is a plus.
- Strong technical, troubleshooting, and report writing skills.
- Ability to prioritize deliverables, think innovatively, and implement work plans.
- Willingness to work independently in dynamic situations.
