Summary
DLA Piper is seeking a mid-senior level associate to join its fast-paced Corporate practice in Minneapolis serving Fortune 500 global companies. The ideal candidate will have 4-7 years of substantive corporate transactional experience focusing on complex cross-border transactions, including mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures and global corporate restructurings.

Basic Qualifications:
- Juris Doctor Degree from a nationally ranked law school.
- Membership in the State Bar as an attorney qualified to practice law in Minnesota.
- 4 years of experience practicing law with a national/international law firm.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Cross-border mergers and acquisition transactional experience.
- Experience in working with local counsel globally and managing complex transactions across multiple jurisdictions.
Physical Demands, Work Environment, and Other Requirements
Sedentary work: Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally, and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Pay Transparency
The firm’s expected hiring range for this position is $310,000 - $420,000 per year depending on the candidate’s geographic market location. The compensation offered for employment will also be dependent on other factors including the candidate’s experience, skills, educational and professional background, and overall qualifications. We offer a comprehensive package of benefits including medical/dental/vision insurance, and 401(k).
