We are looking for a full-time Arbor Groundsman who has a positive attitude and holds themselves accountable. We are willing to train the right candidate. We offer paid on-the-job training and a formal training program to all employees.
JOB DUTIES
- Carry out all maintenance duties allocated by the Foreman
- Assist Arborists with tree removals, pruning, and debris disposal
- Learn techniques and the proper use of tools from senior or more experienced crew members
- Safely use tools and equipment like chippers and chainsaws to carry out maintenance tasks
- Ensure all sites are kept clean and free of hazards
- Inspect equipment and tools and perform repairs and maintenance when required
- Use the appropriate gear and observing safety protocols
- Adhere to company and environmental regulations at all times
QUALIFICATIONS
- The ability to transport heavy items
- Valid Driver’s License
