About the job:
Manages daily tasks to guarantee exceptional operational customer service is achieved while ensuring the accuracy and timeliness for order processing. Meet strict deadlines and provide effective quality assurance for shipments.
Job Summary: This position is responsible for engaging with our customers by phone, live chat, and email to deliver outstanding and professional support for our customers and dealers. As an initial face of the company, the candidate must possess a high acumen in communications skills. A knowledge of agriculture or any part of the agricultural industry is a plus.
- Receive and process customer orders/requests. Special attention to accuracy and on time fulfillment required. Responsible for order success.
- Maintain communication with sales, customers, and supervisor on any issues, inquires and/or correspondences.
- Ability to lift 50-60 pounds, when needed.
- Monitor and replenish stock to support prompt order turnaround.
- Prioritize and coordinate with warehouses and transportation to ensure on time shipment.
- Work with inventory control and other departments where necessary to ensure product availability.
- Offer meaningful solutions, based on specified needs for customer requirements.
- Maintain a positive attitude and calmy respond to customers and co-workers.
- Navigate between multiple database software.
- Be a primary contact for customer inquiries about various products.
- Develop knowledge of various products.
- Ability to help with customer pick-up for both retail and dealer customers.
- Assisting with other duties as assigned.
- Excellent verbal, written, listening and interpersonal communication skills. Ability to effectively manage conflict.
- Strong organizational, multi-tasking, prioritization skills and follow through skills. Ability to perform detailed work with a high degree of accuracy.
- Working Hours: Full-time, Monday through Friday 7:30 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
- 2 years of similar experience in increasingly responsible roles.
- Ability to manage multiple concurrent projects and work under minimal supervision.
- Self-motivated and ability to remain focused in open office and warehouse spaces.
- Ability to understand calculations such as discounts, estimates, dimensional weight, and percentages.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Publisher, and Outlook).
- Ability to work overtime hours as necessary.
- Associate’s Degree or higher, but not required.
- An interest in agriculture and knowledge of seed.
- 3 years of quality work experience; industry experience preferred.
- Familiarity with Microsoft NAV, WMS, Magento and ZohoIQ software.
Compensation and Benefits: This position comes with a competitive compensation plan that includes a base wage, health and wellness benefit options, retirement savings plan with company contribution, vacation, and personal days. Compensation will be based on experience.
