WAREHOUSEMAN/HANDYMAN
Requirements:
1. Proficiency in inventory forms.
2. Familiarity with modern warehousing practices and methods.
3. Good organizational and time management skills.
4. Ability to lift heavy objects.
The responsibilities of the warehouseman are as follows:
1. Receive and process warehouse stock products (store and monitor inventory).
2. Sorting and placing materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined
sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.
3. Maintaining quality in the warehouse and keeping track of all damaged inventory and
reporting the same to the supervisor.
4. Proper labeling and tagging of the inventory in the warehouse.
5. Conduct cycle counts of inventory and managing daily log registers.
6. Keep the warehouse and surrounding areas clean, organized, and free of hazards.
7. Maintain warehouse vehicles and equipment.
8. Upkeep of the yard and parking lot.
9. Perform minor painting, plumbing, and repairs to ensure functionality and safety of warehouse.
10. Work in accord with all safety regulations of the warehouse. Follow quality service standards
and comply with procedures, rules and regulations.
11. Communicate and cooperate with supervisors and coworkers.
12. Efficiently carry out all orders of the supervisors.
Requirements:
Valid driver’s license and good driving record.
Strong attention to detail, hands-on-skills, and the ability to troubleshoot basic maintenance issues.
