Remittance Processing Team Lead
As the Remittance Team Lead , you will be responsible for all incoming payments into DLL including lockbox, wire / ACH, direct debit, and live checks. Timely and accurate posting of customer payments is essential to smooth operations throughout DLL. Inbound payments received are to be reviewed according to the set service level agreements, reviewed for customer intent and posted to the appropriate contract. To ensure that all transactions and / or ledgers are accounted and executed in a complete, timely, and accurate manner, within given rules and regulations. This position will bring structure, uniformity, responsibility and delineated functional ownership to these processes. This position will also organize, supervise and coach reporting team members so that the team can achieve planned objectives.

Day to Day
- Provides technical assistance to team members
- Provides leadership and motivation to team members through actions and by example
- Plan workload and staffing on short and mid-term basis
- Completes performance appraisals as required
- Ensures compliance to policies, procedures and performance standards
- Advise and mentor a staff of 4 accounts receivable clerks through direct supervision including back up support, monitoring individual progress and discussion of accountabilities through regular communication
- Implement process improvements in cash application processes, promote a positive customer service oriented atmosphere
- Gain full understanding of the remittance process - ensure daily closing of cash files, completion of daily general ledger postings and completion of daily bank reconciliations
- Foster a collaborative environment with staff across departments.
- Research requests for information, provide solutions to issues posed and resolve cash posting errors upon occurrence
- Assist the team as needed to ensure that deadlines and service level agreements are met
- Research reconciling items requested by finance
- Perform monthly reporting for unapplied payments suspense account

Applicable Pay Range
64,616.00 -$96,924.00
DLL is considering candidates in numerous locations. The pay estimate displayed represents the typical pay range for candidates hired for this position in the desired primary work location. Pay may be adjusted outside the projected range based on geographical differentiation as well as for any other lawful reason. Additional factors that may be used to determine your actual pay include your specific skills, years of relevant experience you possess, and other work-related qualifications. Many candidates may start in the bottom half of the applicable pay range, especially those with less experience or qualification.
This position is subject to the terms of DLL’s compensation plans and policies. Further, the position includes all other benefits provided to DLL employees, including healthcare benefits, 401k matching, vacation, sick leave, parental leave, possible discretionary bonuses, and all other benefits that are all governed by and subject to ERISA plan documents and eligibility.
