Established in 1976, COE Press Equipment designs and manufactures a complete line of premiere coil handling and servo roll feed equipment from stand-alone roll feeds, straighteners, reels, cradles and air feeds to complete integrated feed lines and cut-to-length systems.

THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Objectively listen to customers and sales team members to identify optimal solutions to customer problems.
- Possess the ability to prioritize and complete tasks to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames.
- Evaluate customer needs and translate into appropriate Coe Press Equipment products
- Take personal responsibility and action toward self- improvement and learning to ensure that they are current in knowledge of new products and technologies.
THE APPLICATIONS ENGINEER WILL:
- Develop specifications and performance requirements for industrial coil handling equipment.
- Evaluate machinery to ensure it has the capability and performance per customer specifications / applications.
- Analyze alternative techniques and methods and recommend changes to equipment or procedures as needed to ensure production feasibility.
- Prepare proposal drawings for customer quotes.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE POSITION:
- Bachelor’s degree in engineering or Computer Science required; Masters degree preferred.
- Five years of relevant experience, preferably in cost estimating and quoting of industrial equipment
- Three years of design engineering for industrial equipment manufacturing highly preferred.
- Knowledge of Machine Operation Safety Procedures
- Strong Written and Verbal Communication Skills
- Evidence of ability to work in cross functional teams required
