What are the responsibilities and job description for the Service Engineer position at DLLC INC.?
THE IDEAL CANDIDATE WILL:
- Identify actions necessary to achieve task completion and to obtain results, meet schedules, deadlines, and performance goals.
- Prioritize and complete tasks in order to deliver desired outcomes within allotted time frames.
- Initiate and sustain momentum without external stimulation
- Establish a process for activities that lead to the implementation of systems, procedures or outcomes.
- Identify long range goals and design plans to attain them while evaluating future implications of current decisions and actions.
THE SERVICE ENGINEER WILL:
- Quote and perform used machine retrofits from equipment purchased by Coe Press Equipment
- Install and upgrade control systems including all required PLC, PC, HMI, safety, and communication hardware.
- Install industrial control systems hardware for use with PLC control systems, drive sizing, component sizing, and control hardware specification and selection
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelors Degree or equivalent in an engineering field (e.g. mechanical, industrial, process, electrical, software, automation etc.) and/or 3 years’ experience in industrial applications, preferably heavy equipment design or metal stamping strongly preferred.
- Strong experience with, AutoCAD Electrical, or similar CAD software.
- Experience with industrial control equipment: relays, power supplies, PLCs, IO cards, PCBs, etc., working knowledge of Allen Bradley Controls
- Basic understanding of mechanical and pneumatic machines and how controls interact with them.
- Experience working independently, as well as working in a team-orientated and fast-paced startup-like environment.
- Obtain and Maintain a Valid Driver License
- Ability to travel up to 50%
