The Field Technician will play a crucial role in ensuring that our clients receive top-notch service and support.
Responsibilities
- Conduct on-site equipment repairs and maintenance, ensuring all work meets company standards.
- Utilize schematics to diagnose issues and identify necessary repairs.
- Operate power tools safely and effectively during repair processes.
- Provide excellent customer service by communicating clearly with clients regarding service needs and solutions.
- Assist in the sales process by identifying opportunities for additional services or products that meet client needs.
- Perform heavy lifting as required when moving equipment or parts.
- Collaborate with other technicians and dealership staff to ensure efficient operations.
- Maintain accurate records of service performed and parts used.
Requirements
- Candidates must have previous experience troubleshooting, maintaining & repairing generators.
- Proven experience as a Service Technician or similar role, preferably in a dealership environment.
- Strong customer service skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients.
- Familiarity with welding and soldering techniques is a plus.
- Ability to read and interpret schematics for troubleshooting purposes.
- Proficient in using various power tools safely and effectively.
- Physical capability to perform heavy lifting tasks as needed.
- A strong work ethic, attention to detail, and commitment to quality workmanship.
