he Event Administrator is responsible for handling the administrative duties involved in the planning and execution of events. This role requires organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously. This role involves a variety of duties, including communication with vendors and clients, assisting with event logistics, and communication of event details and updates to internal teams.

  • Excellent Communication Skills Including the Ability to Interact with Clients, Vendors, and Staff effectively.
  • Organizational and time-management skills for meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Excel, Google Sheets and Event Registration Platforms.
  • Strong attention to detail.

What you are great at: (Responsibilities)

  • Assist with sourcing and booking activities, entertainment and decor.
  • Assist event team with conference coordination by building out team member roles, creating team member presentations, and managing internal and external room blocks.
  • Add general event receipts into the events expense report.
  • Build out the event app with necessary information.
  • Respond to general event email questions.
  • Sources event swag and turn over to the project team for design and ordering.
  • Send out shipping for DLP Capital events and tradeshows.
  • Assist Event Coordinator with branding and decor ideas for IDS Day, Alignment Day and Living Fully Day
  • Create and send out event snapshots at least 5 days prior to the event start date.
  • Source venues and vendors for Micro Dinners, Capital Dinners and Conferences.
  • Obtain all necessary approvals and ensure legal compliance before transitioning the event to the designated event manager.
  • Attend Event Huddle and Pipeline meetings
  • On a daily basis, update RSVP tracker sheet with all event totals
