DLP Service is currently accepting applications for the position of:
- POSITION TITLE: General Laborer (Custodian, Maintenance, groundskeeper)
- Hire Pay: $13
- Classification: Part-Time
JOB SUMMARY:
Perform tasks involving physical labor in indoor/outdoor work sites. May operate equipment such as gas powered hand held Blower . May perform custodial work and maintenance work at work sites. May assist other craft workers.
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:

- Ability to Follow Instructions: They must be able to understand and follow instructions accurately and efficiently.
- Safety Awareness: A strong understanding of safety protocols and procedures is essential.
- Teamwork: General laborers often work as part of a team, so the ability to communicate and cooperate with others is important.
SUPERVISION RECEIVED AND EXERCISED:
Receives supervision from the project supervisor. The position has no formal assigned supervisory responsibility or authority. Must complete jobs without constant supervision.
WORKING CONDITIONS:
The principal duties of this position are performed in an indoor and/or outdoor environment. Works standing and walking for prolonged periods. Steps, stoops, crawls, climbs, lifts, bends, kneels, pulls, and pushes while performing job duties such as heavy physical work; heavy lifting, pushing, or pulling required of objects up to 55 pounds. Physical work is a primary part of the job. The work environment involves some exposure to hazards or physical risks, which require following basic safety precautions. Work may involve moderate exposure to unusual elements, such as extreme temperatures, cleaning chemicals, dirt, dust, fumes, smoke, unpleasant odors, and/or loud noises.
ALCOHOL AND DRUG TESTING POLICY:
This position is subject to the DLP Services Drug-Free Workplace Policy which includes post-accident. Testing, Random Testing, and/or Reasonable Suspicion Testing.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:
- Must have experience in this position.
- Must pass a background check.
REQUIREMENT: Valid Driver's License Class C
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
- Ability to understand written and verbal communications.
