Financial Analyst for Department of Homeland Security (hybrid)

DLS Engineering is searching for a Financial Analyst to join our team for a full-time position in the National Capital Region to support the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) as part of the Department of Homeland Security. CISA's mission and vision statements are to lead the national effort to understand and manage cyber and physical risks to our critical infrastructure and provide a secure and resilient critical infrastructure for the American people.

This is a hybrid role.

A day in the life :

Support the Government in all areas as they relate to the federal budget processing in the areas of financial management and reporting, planning and analysis and reporting, and portfolio management to the federal lead.
Provide support for budget formulation, budget execution, and financial management activities.
Assist and develop financial, budget briefings and preparations which may also include spreadsheet and graphic presentations.
Support developing, reviewing, and implementing project-level budgets and annual and multi-year spend plans.

When I read the below it sounds like me :

Minimum of 8 years budget formulation experience.

Minimum of 5 years of experience in DHS Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) experience.

Active Secret Clearance and ability to maintain or obtain DHS Suitability.

Read, write, speak and understand English.

Must be a US Citizen and be able to pass a government background check.
