What are the responsibilities and job description for the Live Music Venue Bartender position at DLS Events?
DLS Events at The Amp Ballantyne is looking to add highly motivated, upbeat, and friendly bartenders to add to the team for the 2025 concert season. Bartenders will provide timely, accurate and exceptional customer service while preparing highest quality beverages for our guests.
Essential Functions and Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks consistent with DLS events standard drink recipes and protocols
- Record drink orders accurately into the POS system
- Knowledge of beer, wine and liquor as well as common drink recipes
- Set up bar station for functionality and assist with breakdown (according to the opening and closing checklists)
- Maintain cleanliness in all areas of the bar
- Effectively communicate with barbacks for restocking and replenishment of bar inventory and supplies
- Process payments
- Other tasks as required by management or leadership
Qualifications:
- High volume bartending experience preferred but not required
- Be at least 21 years of age
- Be able to communicate clearly and effectively
- Possess strong organizational and multi-tasking skills

- Be able to work in a standing position for long periods of time
